All lessons will take place at the ISR Monterey Swim indoor facility. Address is 202 Calle Del Oaks, Del Rey Oaks, CA 93940. Lessons are by APPOINTMENT ONLY, so please do not come to the facility unless you are a registered student in a current session.
Lessons are attended 10 minutes a day, 5 consecutive days a week for approximately 6 weeks. I know 5 days a week might seem daunting, but I PROMISE it’s worth it.
Research shows that children in this age range attain skills best within the first 10 minutes. We are sure you know this all too well that attention spans for little ones can be quite short.
The consistency of daily lessons is critical for learning efficiency. These are NOT traditional swim lessons! We are teaching highly specialized skills, and it is very important to attend class every day. If you cannot commit to this schedule, you may not register until you are sure you can.
Let’s say you enroll your child into swim lessons at a local community center for $300 for 6 weeks and your child has class 1x/wk. The lessons are 30 minutes in length. There are 5 students in the class.
Each lesson is costing you $50! But since there are 5 kids in the class, your child is really only getting 6 minutes of one-on-one time. (30 minutes divided by 5 kids = 6 minutes).
So, you’re essentially paying $50 for 6 minutes of lessons once a week!
That sounds like a lot, right? And at the end of it, there is no guarantee that your child will be able to swim. In fact, they may recommend that you do ANOTHER 6 weeks and maybe several more sessions after that.
ISR lessons often seem more expensive than “traditional” swimming lessons.
But the truth is, we teach your child EVERY DAY for a SHORT period of time (10 minutes) and they always have one-on-one lessons that are tailored to YOUR child and THEIR needs.
And at the end of your session, they will float (and likely swim depending on their age) completely INDEPENDENTLY!
Swimming is a skill that could SAVE your child’s life!
